Can A Loan Company Secure A Loan With Household Goods?

I have several loans with loan companies n they are secure with household goods. Can they do this?

Read the terms and conditions in the contracts.
If they list household goods as collateral, then yes they can and did.

If they accepted your household goods as collateral, then they did just that.

they can use pretty much anything as colateral
