  You can only obtain legitimate work from home positions from brick and mortar companies.
  You want to send your resume out to companies hiring for positions you are qualified for, but include in your resume that you have a home office and you wish to work remotely. Include how you have your home office set up and what equipment you already have in order for you to perform your job.
  These jobs are just going to advertised as jobs, they would not promote them as “work at home” because they would hear from too many unqualified people.

  Do you enjoy staying home with your son? If so– consider sitting for someone else’s kid, too! You can post up an ad on SitterCity.com describing yourself and your experience with kids, also the hours you’d be able to watch someone else’s and the ages you’re comfortable with.
  I REALLY wanted to be a stay at home Mom, but we couldn’t afford it. So, to make it work, I did what I described above and for the past year I’ve been watching my (now 16 month) daughter and another (now 19 month) little girl. The girl is dropped off at MY house every morning, and picked up every afternoon. She’s on the same schedule as my daughter, so my day is really no different– just double everything. I’m paid $400/week (under the table, mind you) for basically doing what I’d already be doing with my own daughter.
  Keep in mind, too, that if you get a full time job you’ll be paying for daycare. So, when I say I make $400/week, it’s really like $800, since I’m not paying $400/week to someone else to watch my kid.

  yes there are many work at home opportunities out there. you have to find a good mentor. someone that will help you every step of the way. but unfortunately the way our society works is that any thing that comes our way is automatically called a scam. also the way yahoo answers policies are written any one who offers to answer the question like you have posted gets shut down for violations of the policy. so it is a lose -lose situation. I do work at home and have been for a while. the thing is that if you don’t find a good mentor then it is like finding a needle in a hay stack. there are good work at home jobs out there but it is tough to find one on your own, feel free to contact me any time you want , jim_tru@yahoo.com
