Since this video was made, has the bank foreclosed on this farm? Is it too late or is there still something that can be done to help these family farmers? They should have appealed to FarmAid for help after all they are family farmers and those are the people that Farm Aid helps in their moments of great need.

Shame on greenstone for thinking that this is not a viable product. They have a bank in St. Johns which holds an annual mint festival. Are they a sponser? If so I think we should boo then right out of the parade!

Well of course the bank doesnt care. All they want is their god damn money, and they dont care who they have to step on to get it. They dont care about your situation, all they do is find ways of covering their own asses.

    what is fiat?

  • 6. supreme600  |  October 8th, 2009 at 6:31 am

Fiat is money issued by government order that is not backed by precious metals. Because it has no intrinsic value it is vulnerable to inflation and manipulation by the banks. Big business favors fiat because credit is easy to obtain, but the consumer and average person is given a rotten deal with money that is continually losing its value.

The majority of these loan’s (due to death, relocating of familie’s etc) would be paid off way before 40 or 50 years.Leaving it up to the bank’s to do this is akin to putting the fox in the hen house to protect them. “The Change We Need” must come from the Federal government.

Unfortunately, President elect Obama has not addressed the foreclosure problem. I know of a friend who was layed off from a county job & his home is at this very moment been put up for foreclosure. The bank couldn’t give a damn about him, his wife or infant daughter & yet our moronic government has bailed them out & no one in government seems to have a clue where these hundreds of billions of dollars to them has gone.

This sub prime mortgage mess would have never happened if We the People who do not have high paying jobs would have been granted the right to borrow a low interest home mortgage loan based on income directly from the Federal Reserve Bank which should be nationalized for the moderate income working class people of our nation who for too long have been enslaved by banks and lending institutions by high interest rates on money that they receive at a low interest rate from the Fed.
