I heard that comparing auto loans before shopping for a car is a prudent thing to do. But I’ve also heard that every time you apply for a loan your credit rating is negatively affected. What’s the truth?

How Can You Get A Home Loan With Really Poor Credit?

February 1st, 2010 at 06:44am Under Loans

My husband, myself and our kids, are living with his parents, for the past six months. We both have very poor credit and are in desparate need of our own place. We now can afford our own place but cannot get a loan to purchase one. We have down payment in hand, and the monthly income to afford everything, but we are still without a home! Can someone please help with an idea of how to get a $6500.00 loan?

December 30th, 2009 at 06:48am Under Loans

I do not a have a job, but I will be buying properties cheaply, so I will sell them quickly and for a profit. From that profit, I will pay for the loan. Do you know of any way to obtain a loan with those circumstances?

How Do I Get A Personal Loan With Bad Credit?

December 23rd, 2009 at 06:48am Under Loans

I am looking for a personal loan, but my credit is not good. I don’t want a payday loan but that is all I find on the internet when I type in personal loans for people with bad credit. Do you know any lender who will give loans to people with bad credit? I don’t really care to much about the interest rate. I just would like the loan to pay off some stuff and get some new things I need around my house. But I don’t own a home, so I can get a home loan.

How And Why Is My Credit Card Affected When I Open And Close A Credit Card?

December 18th, 2009 at 08:57pm Under Credit

I see a great deal at a store to open up a credit card and get a prize or a rebate. If I want the big discount I open the credit card and then get the discount but I don’t want or need the credit card at all.
Is it better to close down this new card or keep it open with a zero balance? How does opening and closing account affect my credit score?

How Does A Credit Card Work And Why Do I Have To Get One?

December 14th, 2009 at 04:58pm Under Credit

I just turned 18 and I am trying to get my own place but they said I need to have good credit. To have good credit, they said I have to build good credit, but the only way to build good credit is to have good credit. Why is that? I was looking at credit cards and purchases become way more expensive when you buy them a credit card. So why use one? But to build credit you need to use one. Am I mistaken? Could someone explain how a credit card works please?

How Long Should I Make Loan Payments Before It Will Build My Credit?

December 14th, 2009 at 06:52am Under Loans

I recently applied for an auto loan to start building some credit. I have the money to pay it off right away, but I was waiting to start building my credit. Is there any benefit to taking months to pay it off or is just having a loan enough to build credit? Is there a good amount of months to wait to pay it off?
