I am graduating, and was wondering what kind of jobs (including finance jobs) are there out there that I can do. Also, what can I expect in terms of promotions and salary in the future. Also, starting salary. Is there anyone who majored in economics? If so, what do you do?

With a degree in economics I have always been told it’s not very useful to get a job with. It is more usesful to start a business with. Although economics is very important and in my opinion the smartest people have high understandings of economics, I have always been told to pair it with anouther major. The most useful feild to use econ in are all feilds relating to finance, but most of those position require a degree in finance. Thus I am majoring in Econ and finance with an accounting minor.

You can probably get a job on Hillary Clinton’s re-election campaign. You have to know what the meaning of “is” is, though.
