  I know how you feel! I’m currently stuck in a dead-end job as well. I stuck around because I’m the only one earning in my family because my wife is a stay home mom.   First make sure you’re ready. Do you have AT LEAST 6 months of income to fall back on. This is after any start up expenses. Your family has to come first because if you’re worried about them and not earning money it gets very scary, very fast. Next, determine what skills you have and how you can market them. The best business would be the one where there is a big unfilled need in your area and you have the unique talents to fill it. I’d suggest a bit of reading while you determine these answers.
